Tom Yocom started Auto Tech 38 years ago with a plan to deliver good, honest automotive repair with the best service possible. John Disbrow has worked with Tom for over twenty years, and we have been awarded numerous customer service awards from the Auto Club (AAA). Our technicians are ASE certified and our commitment to hard work and honest service means our customers keep coming back.
Tom Yocom
Tom is an ASE Certified Master Auto Technician, L1. He’s owned Auto Tech Auto Repair for over 38 years and has over 50 years experience in the auto repair business. A resident of East County, Tom is married with three children. Their family is rounded out with an Australian Cattle Dog, a rabbit and a guinea pig. His hobbies include classic cars, reading and baseball. He also spends time playing pickle ball, swimming and hiking.
He once hosted a radio call in show all about cars on KOGO 600. His key to success is treating people like he’d like to be treated, working hard and not being afraid of new technologies.
John Disbrow
John has worked with Tom at Auto Tech Auto Repair for over 30 years and serves as the General Manager of the auto repair shop. He’s responsible for managing the overall operations of the auto repair shop and is a quality control specialist. John holds numerous licenses and certifications, including all the ASE Certifications.
John’s hobbies include collectibles, 60′s Muscle Cars, and landscaping and home improvement projects. He enjoys any outdoor activities, including trail running and the beach. A resident of East County for three decades, one of John’s burning desires is to see as many homes run on Solar power as possible. John’s key to success is being engaged and focused on his work and following God’s word and principles.
